Description:
Muslim Cemetery situated on the eastern part of DJ229 right before the entry Turda village. On a small slope graves marked with boulders are scattered without a visible plan. In the north-eastern part of the area are two graves surrounded by fences. The dead's (Hashin H. Omer and his wife) were parents of historian Kemal Karpat. The graves are well maintained and are the only graves with modern engraved funeral stelae. The other graves are marked by boulders. Only in a few cases graves with two stones, placed next to the head and feet, are visible. In one case it seems that the grave was marked with a slab belt. It's very possible that in the past the area of cemetery was larger but the agricultural works have diminished it.
